Mansion for Events
The Drumore Estate mansion is located outside on Lancaster, PA. It was built by John F. Steinman, a Lancaster newspaper magnate, in 1938. The 16,000 square-foot home was modeled after the opulent design and smooth symmetry of Georgian architecture often found in 18th Century Britain. Learn more about the historic mansion. Every detail of the mansion was remarkably attended to – down to the patented wrought-iron detailing on the exterior—which has inspired our Drumore Estate logo. This country estate was built specifically for entertaining—with its open spaces, quaint alcoves, grand staircase, dazzling chandeliers and warm ambiance—making it ideal for all manner of social gatherings including weddings. The mansion has several spaces for usage in the events. Our grounds cover 70 acres for a natural setting that encompass our gardens. Couples can choose from our grand tent, carriage house or orangery as reception areas. The groom’s lounge and bridal suite are included for usage during weddings. Our spaces are elegant and unique for private parties and events of all types.
