Video Transcript:

Today, we will talk about three tips for picking a winter wedding venue.
Our first tip is to choose a venue that has off-season winter wedding packages.
Our second tip is to find a venue that’s warm and inviting for both your ceremony and reception.
Our third tip is to look for a venue that is easily accessible with paved parking and walkways and snow removal if needed.
You never know it might snow on your wedding day. It’d be the perfect winter wedding.

While we find that most couples choose to get married with us from April through October, there are plenty of great reasons to consider getting married during the winter. Make your money go further. Winter is considered an off-season for many wedding vendors like us here at Drumore Estate. This is great for when budgeting is a factor. Our off-season venue rates are less than our prime-season rates. Vendors and suppliers you want to work with to make your dream wedding come true will have more availability and may also offer discounts during the off-season. Plus, you’re more likely to get your wedding film back faster during winter because your videographer and photographer aren’t as busy as they would be during the wedding season.

Drumore Estate has two indoor venues available all year. The Orangery offers an intimate atmosphere in which up to 150 guests can gather to celebrate your ceremony. The carriage house offers a fireplace, sound and video equipment, and a special lighting package for your reception that create the mood that you desire. Our patios and gardens are open during winter, weather permitting.
